Install Edimax N150 Wi-Fi Adapter in Linux Mint

Disconnect any existing Ethernet network cable from the computer.

Plug the N150 into any USB socket (front or back).

A box should open in the top right hand corner of your screen saying "Wi-Fi Networks available" and the adapter should light up (blue).

Left click the icon immediately to the left of the date in the bottom right hand corner of the screen (the icon with a tiny red cross).

Left click the name (SSID) of the Wi-Fi network that you want to connect to. (you may have to first select "More networks" to find yours.

A box will say "Authentication required by Wi-Fi Network"

Left click to select "Show password" then left click back in the password space.

Enter the correct password (pay attention to upper and lower case letters).

Left click the Connect button.

Wait....

Connection established!
